I have received many email forwards, then I have forwarded them to people on "my list". I love these touching, warm, funny emails. I started saving them on my computer, so I would never lose them. I decided to create a blog to hold all these email forwards, so others can enjoy them and so I can easily refer to them when I want. I hope people who love email forwards as much as I do, or like reading funny and inspirational readings will find this site and share it with others.

"Hand of Hope"
This email forward is at least 10 years old . . . But still very touching! THIS email forward has the correct info below. As often is the case, some over zealous people fabricate beautiful stories about some things. This one is accurate!!!
The photograph was taken during a medical procedure to fix the spina bifida lesion of a 21-week-old fetus in the womb. The operation was performed by a surgical team at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. The team, Dr. Joseph Bruner and Dr. Noel Tulipan, had been developing a technique for correcting certain fetal problems in mid-pregnancy. Their procedure involved temporarily opening the uterus, draining the amniotic fluid, partially extracting and performing surgery on the tiny fetus, and then restoring the fetus to the uterus back inside the mother.
Now see the actual picture, and it is awesome...
incredible....and hey, pass it on. The world needs to
see this one!
Samuel Alexander Armas (born December 2, 1999)
is the child shown in a famous photograph by Michael Clancy, dubbed the "Hand of Hope", of his hand extending from an opening in his mother's uterus and touching his surgeon's finger during open fetal surgery for spina bifida.

Feeding The Bald Eagles!!! WOW!
January of this year 2013, the weather stayed so cold in St. Louis, Missouri and Alton, Illinois that the bald eagles were cruising over houses in hopes of a quick meal. They could not access fish that were at the bottom of the river and had gathered together.
Some kind souls decided to feed the eagles so they would survive the cold spell. They gathered fish and started feeding the group of eagles huddled on the shore.
The photos below show what happened. A retired teacher took these photos in front of his home. Incredible!
Here are the men who were feeding them, so close!
As you know, it was not too long ago that the American Bald Eagle was an endangered species.
The protection of these birds by our U.S. government, along with others such as Canada, was directly responsible for the Bald Eagle surviving as a species.
Amazing pictures --- please pass along for others to enjoy!
