The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has record numbers of temples being built across the world! There may be one being built in YOUR area.
Before a temple is dedicated - they have and "Open House" for the public to tour INSIDE the temple. Once the open house has ended, the will close and the public tours have ended.

"Good to know" info below - these were done specifically for the San Diego, CA temple, so there is reference to that temple specifically. Their open house was June 18 through July 11, 2026. It was rededicated after this first remodel.
After a temple is first built, there is an open house.
After a remodel also there is an open house.
If all the workers on a temple remodel are good standing members, the temple does not need to be rededicated and an open house does not happen!
